Sew - In: Fourth Monday
April 9: Ted Hoffman from Clothworks will join us. If you've been around for his other presentations you know you're in for a treat. What can you expect? He'll be talking to us about their decision to bring all aspects of textile production for their AMB fabric line back to America. And of course we'll get to check out new fabrics and a lucky few will take home some of the lovely giveaways he brings for door prizes.
May 14: Janet Larson is a Fiber Artist living in Gig Harbor, WA. Her specialty is in embellishing on fabric and quilts using embroidery, beading, stenciling, painting and quilting by hand and machine. I'm hoping for a glimpse at her most recent interest -- applique and embellishment on wool. Her program includes a trunk show of her quilts and techniques and how they have changed from ordinary to out there.
May Sew-in workshop: Valerie Cansler: Brazilian Embroidery. Demo / some hands on. Valerie shows you what you need to know and how to do this.
